stado dns undelegate

Invocation

stado dns undelegate [OPTIONS] --provider <PROVIDER> --api-credential <API_CREDENTIAL> --credential <CREDENTIAL> <ZONE>

Purpose

Hand a zone delegated to the DNS host named by --provider back to the registrar's own nameservers. Refused, naming the records, while the host serves a record the registrar's host list does not hold; nothing is changed then.

Required inputs and options

Input or optionContract
<ZONE>Zone name, for example wisent.com
--provider <PROVIDER>The DNS host that serves the zone now [possible values: cloudflare]
--api-credential <API_CREDENTIAL>Skarbiec item holding the DNS host's API token in `api_key` that may read the zone's DNS records
--credential <CREDENTIAL>Skarbiec item holding api_user, api_key, username and client_ip
--jsonEmit machine-readable output

Output and state effect

It performs the operation described above and emits its operator result on standard output or standard error. Any state change is limited to the resources and records named by the purpose and options on this page.

Refusals

  • Before dispatch, Stado refuses a missing required token shown in the invocation, an unknown option, or a value outside a listed value set; argument-usage failures exit with code 2.
