stado host compiler cache
Invocation
stado host compiler cache [OPTIONS] <TARGET> <OPERATION>Purpose
Read or bring TARGET's compiler cache to the version Stado declares. The release worker installs the cache on a builder before a build's first step, so a builder that cannot install it refuses every release build, the one that would repair it included. This runs TARGET's own `stado product compiler-cache` over the fleet channel.
Required inputs and options
| Input or option | Contract |
|---|---|
<TARGET> | Positional input; required or optional as shown in the invocation. |
<OPERATION> | Possible values: - status: The installed version against the declared one - ensure: Install the declared version when it is absent or another - remove: Uninstall it |
--json | Emit the host's report as JSON |
Output and state effect
This is an inspection/reporting operation. It emits the result described above and does not change managed state unless an explicit option in this page says otherwise. Pass `--json` when the command exposes that machine-readable option.
Refusals
- Before dispatch, Stado refuses a missing required token shown in the invocation, an unknown option, or a value outside a listed value set; argument-usage failures exit with code 2.
