CLI reference / host / config-unset

stado host config-unset

Invocation

stado host config-unset [OPTIONS] <TARGET> <KEY>

Purpose

Remove one dotted Stado configuration key from TARGET. A declaration that should never have been made is retracted, not overwritten with a null: a key present with a null value and a key that is absent read the same through `jq` and differently through the code that iterates the object.

Required inputs and options

Input or optionContract
<TARGET>Positional input; required or optional as shown in the invocation.
<KEY>Positional input; required or optional as shown in the invocation.
--reload-service <RELOAD_SERVICE>Reconcile this registry-managed service after the atomic write so long-lived processes observe the retraction immediately

Output and state effect

It performs the operation described above and emits its operator result on standard output or standard error. Any state change is limited to the resources and records named by the purpose and options on this page.

Refusals

  • Before dispatch, Stado refuses a missing required token shown in the invocation, an unknown option, or a value outside a listed value set; argument-usage failures exit with code 2.
