Invocation

stado host user delete [OPTIONS] --target <TARGET> --confirm <CONFIRM> <USERNAME>

Purpose

Delete USERNAME from a registry-managed host over SSH. The account, and its home directory unless --keep-home, cannot be restored, so the username is repeated with --confirm

Required inputs and options

Refusals

  • The username again; anything else is refused before the host is contacted
  • Before dispatch, Stado refuses a missing required token shown in the invocation, an unknown option, or a value outside a listed value set; argument-usage failures exit with code 2.
