CLI reference / product / dependencies

stado product dependencies

Invocation

stado product dependencies [OPTIONS] [PRODUCT]

Purpose

Read from each product's source every call it makes to another catalog product (program, resolver, hosted API, state directory, environment) and refuse a product the catalog does not show running without it: a dependency undeclared, declared with no alternative (bound; by design when the catalog says why in bound_because), or with no alternative_source in the workspace

Required inputs and options

Input or optionContract
[PRODUCT]One product; every catalog product when omitted
--catalog <catalog>Independent authoritative catalog path
--jsonPrint each product's repositories, dependencies and the lines that reach them as JSON
--workspace <workspace>The workspace of canonical checkouts this operation reads and builds from; default WISENT_WORKSPACE, else ~/Documents/CodingProjects/Wisent

Output and state effect

This is an inspection/reporting operation. It emits the result described above and does not change managed state unless an explicit option in this page says otherwise. Pass `--json` when the command exposes that machine-readable option.

Refusals

  • Before dispatch, Stado refuses a missing required token shown in the invocation, an unknown option, or a value outside a listed value set; argument-usage failures exit with code 2.
