Invocation

stado release <COMMAND>

Purpose

Build once, sign, promote, roll out, and roll back product releases

Required inputs and options

This command has no command-specific inputs or options.

Output and state effect

This command group selects one of the subcommands listed below; use its exact child invocation to perform an operation.

Refusals

  • Before dispatch, Stado refuses a missing required token shown in the invocation, an unknown option, or a value outside a listed value set; argument-usage failures exit with code 2.

Subcommands

  • keygen — Generate an Ed25519 release authority key pair
  • policy-apply — Apply reviewed product policy without changing the active release
  • submit — Snapshot, qualify, build, sign, publish, deliver, and promote a product
  • resume — Resume a recorded release without replacing its source or running jobs
  • redeliver — Re-run one delivery from an exact completed release without promotion
  • catalog — Manage the Stado-owned product and source policy catalog
  • prepare — Build, sign, and publish one immutable candidate coordinate
  • promote — Promote exact qualified candidate bytes into registry desired state
  • agent — Reconcile desired releases on this exact registry target
  • status — Show desired and observed rollout state, and the register of recent publication attempts
  • active-binary — Resolve the exact policy-derived executable of the active signed release
  • logs — Read a release candidate's own stdout/stderr off the target host
  • doctor — One verdict over desired state, the candidate, quarantine and the host's claiming gates
  • quarantine — List and retire the digests a host refuses to roll out again
  • rollback — Atomically restore the previous desired release
  • install-local — Install a delivered release archive's binary on this very host
  • claim-coordinate — Bind one immutable coordinate to exactly one source revision before anything is published into it
  • declare-version — Set or remove a host's exact managed binary version declaration
  • promote-version — Verify and promote one published version into a host declaration
  • activate-staged — Activate one host's already-staged release with its own installer
  • verify-platform — Run the native release journeys on one declared host platform
  • host-state — Read or converge the versions a host declares
  • provenance — Attest the source and bytes of the release artifacts a host carries
