stado release local restore

Invocation

stado release local restore [OPTIONS]

Purpose

Reinstall a Stado release an earlier delivery retained on this very host, when the installed Stado cannot serve

Required inputs and options

Input or optionContract
--version <VERSION>Exact retained Stado version to reinstall
--previousReinstall the release this host ran before the installed one: the retained version whose staged `stado` is byte for byte the rollback target `~/.stado/bin/stado.previous` that install keeps and reclaim never removes. For a host whose installed Stado cannot serve and whose operator cannot name the last good version from a record it holds

Output and state effect

It performs the operation described above and emits its operator result on standard output or standard error. Any state change is limited to the resources and records named by the purpose and options on this page.

Refusals

  • For a host whose installed Stado cannot serve and whose operator cannot name the last good version from a record it holds
  • Before dispatch, Stado refuses a missing required token shown in the invocation, an unknown option, or a value outside a listed value set; argument-usage failures exit with code 2.
