CLI reference / service / recoveries

stado service recoveries

Invocation

stado service recoveries [OPTIONS]

Purpose

The services this host found standing and recovered: each beacon pass asks every declared service the question its catalog entry declares (`service.answering`), and one that answers nothing longer than the resolver's declared refresh interval is repaired with its declared step, restarted, recorded here and alerted. A service on another host that holds this host's resolver requests that long is recovered from here the same way, over that host's registry SSH channel, and its record names this host as `observed_by`. Reads this host's register, oldest first

Required inputs and options

Input or optionContract
--service <SERVICE>Only this service's recoveries
--jsonCommand option; required or optional as shown in the invocation.

Output and state effect

It performs the operation described above and emits its operator result on standard output or standard error. Any state change is limited to the resources and records named by the purpose and options on this page.

Refusals

  • Before dispatch, Stado refuses a missing required token shown in the invocation, an unknown option, or a value outside a listed value set; argument-usage failures exit with code 2.
