stado space volume mount
Invocation
stado space volume mount [OPTIONS] --device <DEVICE> --mount-point <MOUNT_POINT> <TARGET>Purpose
Mount one block device at a mount point and write its fstab line by UUID. Mounts, never formats: a device with no filesystem is refused by name. `stado space report TARGET` lists the host's block devices and which of them nothing has mounted.
Required inputs and options
| Input or option | Contract |
|---|---|
<TARGET> | Positional input; required or optional as shown in the invocation. |
--device <DEVICE> | The /dev leaf, such as sdb1 or nvme0n1p2 |
--mount-point <MOUNT_POINT> | The absolute mount-point directory on the selected host |
--json | Command option; required or optional as shown in the invocation. |
Output and state effect
It performs the operation described above and emits its operator result on standard output or standard error. Any state change is limited to the resources and records named by the purpose and options on this page.
Refusals
- Before dispatch, Stado refuses a missing required token shown in the invocation, an unknown option, or a value outside a listed value set; argument-usage failures exit with code 2.
