Required inputs and options

This command has no command-specific inputs or options.

Output and state effect

This command group selects one of the subcommands listed below; use its exact child invocation to perform an operation.

Refusals

  • Before dispatch, Stado refuses a missing required token shown in the invocation, an unknown option, or a value outside a listed value set; argument-usage failures exit with code 2.

Subcommands

  • parse — Parse a command line with this exact binary without running it. Install and release admission use this to check unit argv before replacing a process's executable
  • units — Check every installed managed unit that invokes PROGRAM against the candidate's own parser, on one host or the whole registry
  • format — Format this checkout the way its declared gates of kind `format` read it. A web product, whose `format` gate is `stado web quality`, is refused: that gate runs the product's own scripts and names no formatter
  • check — Check that each committed Cargo.lock resolves its manifest (cargo fetch through the git program, then cargo metadata --locked --offline, no compile), then run every declared quality gate the product installation runs — each kind, `format`, `lint` and `test` — exactly as the release build runs it, writing nothing, so a commit that passes is not refused by its installation. On the web platform the gate is `stado web quality`, run over the exported tree with the release worker's WISENT_* contract
